The Portfolio as Conceptual Passport with Harley Valentine

The Portfolio as Conceptual Passport is a workshop exploring the modern portfolio. An artist’s portfolio manifests itself in various incarnations and as a fixture of the artist’s identity.  A strong portfolio is a passport; allowing the artist to navigate the business of art.

The workshop will explore:

  • Creating Your Portfolio
  • Art Direction/ Editing/ Presentation
  • Creating a Visual Identity
  • The Portfolio in Social Media
  • The Portfolio in The Hands of Your Audience

The objective of the workshop is to heighten awareness of portfolio development and establish the value of a well-planned and executed portfolio; treating the process of creating portfolios as an evolutionary tool essential for artistic growth.

It will invigorate and arm you with a new ambition to take ownership of your portfolio as a body of work to share with your contemporaries and clients.
