Humber Galleries supports many unique academic endeavors at Humber Polytechnic. This includes our fellowship programs, which gather a multidisciplinary team of students to develop large and interactive art installations across the college as part of the gallery’s “Campus as a Canvas” initiative. Under the mentorship and supervision of FMCA faculty and gallery staff, students will work as a team to explore their artistic talents, develop a proposal, plan and produce the design, and finally present their finished art project to the public. These collaborative programs will not only activate the campus in new and exciting ways but also provide participants with essential life skills that they can utilize after they graduate and begin working as art professionals.
