Created by the 2025 Nuit Blanche Fellowship
Domus Nexus delves into the intimate relationship between private space and collective identity; exploring how individual homes contribute to the fabric of a community.
Through a cultural and personal lens, the project invites viewers to reconsider the meaning of “home” — as both a deeply personal space and a shared cultural symbol. It reflects on the subtle interplay between personal and communal experiences, revealing how identity is shaped in both solitary and collective moments.
The project draws attention to the small, often overlooked details that form the greater whole — the tiny, discoverable parts of identity. Domus Nexus asks audiences to look closer, to see the city through its homes, its people, its traditions — finding unity in combined perspectives.
