"O Canada"
Students from the Bachelor of Music program and the Bachelor of Film and Media program collaborated on a video compilation of O Canada, sung in tribute to frontline and health-care workers. The project was borne of the students' desire to thank all the frontline workers for their work during COVID-19, so they got together to create the piece.“The project is a win on so many levels,” said Mike Downes, Humber Music program coordinator. It has a second purpose; the collaboration allowed students to get work placement hours – and much-needed honourariums.
The video was created by the entire 18 students in the Bachelor of Music program and four graduating Film and Media Production students.

“C’est Si Bon”
This piece, inspired by the music and style of Django Reinhart, was the ensemble final, performed in isolation due to the pandemic. Each year, Humber College group-arranges a series of swing tunes. http://humbermusic.ca/
