Humber College's L Space Gallery and the artist collective Frog in Hand present The Wishing Well - a container of unlimited boundaries. A well is a source and an access point. It is a place of collection. Folklore outlines the importance of a well's blessing and some offerings have included weapons, money, and cherished items. In this iteration of a Wishing Well, it is simply the offering of each visitor's breath and the wish itself contained within a balloon. The exhibition will run during September with a dance performance and balloon ceremony during Culture Days.
