Abstract: One way that I use digital technology in my teaching practice is by sharing short YouTube video clips that I’ve created on various anatomical concepts with the students that I have the opportunity to teach or help facilitate through a course. Over the years I’ve used these videos in multiple ways, but initially they were created to support the educational model known as the ‘Flipped Classroom’. This model is based on the premise of students watching a video or completing a learning activity before coming class which then frees up class time to engage in more active learning activities instead of lecturing.
