What is the mark of authenticity?
All bodies are sovereign, all realities legitimate.
As we reflect on ourselves and hold up these mirrors in tender and heartfelt ways, a kind of reclamation occurs. Our surroundings, and the narratives present in popular media that inundate don’t always portray the complex nature of existence.
In intimately sharing ourselves, we add to the cultural cannon and make room for unseen truths.
Celebrating our polytechnic environment, this exhibition is a juried selection of works across mediums from students of the Visual Arts Programs at Humber College.
The realness is in your reflection.
