Artwork Description • 

"The Distance Between Us," is a digital collage discussing the dissimilarities of the human experience. While we may be together, we are apart. There's a disconnect between privileged individuals and minorities. I acknowledge this by utilizing the visual disparities of human race as well as the rush of waves into still water. The bridge we've started to forge is yet to be fully realized. In order to make that first step, there has to be an acknowledgement of a need for change.
