Use your creative skills this summer and work with students in music, sound engineering & video production to compose and produce an original music composition while video documenting the whole project!
The brand new Intercultural & Creative Music Fellowship (ICMF 2021) is a collaboration between Humber’s Centre for Creative Business Innovation & the Aga Khan Museum to empower students to create with new perspectives, knowledge and greater intercultural understanding. Mentored by renowned musician/educator Kiya Tabassian, you will join a team to collaborate and produce an original composition and a short documentary-style video, inspired by the Aga Khan’s vast collection of Islamic art, literature and history.
This Fellowship will run 24 hours/week from June 21 to August 31, 2021 and is open to all Humber College students from the Faculty of Media & Creative Arts. Students involved will be compensated $17.66 per hour, totaling $4662.20 (gross) for the 11 weeks; this fellowship is open to students in certificate, degree, and graduate certificate programs.
