An exhibition that showcases the complementary nature of narrative and illustration within the picture book. Visitors explore how mood and tension are created within a scene, how illustrators make visual choices, and why specific tools and media are selected.

The Canadian Society of Children's Authors, Illustrators, and Performers (CANSCAIP) are pleased to present a celebration of contemporary & classic Canadian children's book illustration in tandem with the 30th annual Packaging Your Imagination conference. The exhibition showcases a range of seasoned professionals & emerging artists with the goal of increasing awareness of the importance of the Canadian children's book industry.
